總部位于中國香港的 viAct 今天宣布完成了 200 萬美元的種子輪融資，由 SOSV 和 Vectr Ventures 共同領投。本次參投方還包括阿里巴巴香港創業基金會、Artesian Ventures 和 ParticleX。viAct 成立于 2016 年，主要通過基于人工智能的云平臺，結合計算機視覺、邊緣設備和移動應用，幫助建筑工地進行全天候監控。

目前該公司已經服務于亞洲和歐洲的 30 多家建筑行業客戶，本次籌集的資金將用于研發、產品開發和拓展東南亞國家。該平臺利用計算機視覺來檢測潛在的安全隱患、施工進度以及機械和材料的位置。實時警報會被發送到一個界面簡潔的移動應用上，專為那些經常“在嘈雜和動態的環境中工作，很難看清詳細的儀表盤”的工程師設計。

聯合創始人兼首席運營官 Hugo Cheuk 表示，該公司將會率先進入印尼和越南等東南亞市場，因為政府對智慧城市和新基礎設施的規劃意味著未來5到10年那里的新建設項目將增加。它還將進入新加坡，因為開發商愿意采用基于AI的技術。
